If you searched this NG, you'd have gotten the answers for this repeated
question.

Anyway, With Access2003, you cannot eidt/design server side object (table,
view,sp...) of SQL Server2005, as you could with SQL Server2000. The
solution is to use either SQL Server Management Studio (or its express
version) or Access2007. However, your ADP application would be running fine,
in most cases.

Hello there

I started using access 2003 adp with sql server 2005 because i can't use
tables with bigint.

When i have sql server tables and I try to enter as design view i got error:
the version of microsoft access doesn't support design changes with vhe
vertion of microsoft sql server your access project is connected to

what is the problem and how can i solve it

agree, ADP 2003 works great against SQL 2005
but you can't edit objects

I'd reccomend waiting for the next service pack; SQL 2005
compatibility is supposed to be a new feature in service pack 3 for
office 2003

Microsoft has stated that Office 2003 SP3 would have better support for SQL
2005
