I set up security on a db for a client. The original db was created in
Access 2000. When we created the security, we used Access 2003. However,
once we set all the users up, we noticed that the permissions were not
working. Even though we have specified that one of the users is to only
insert data in 2 forms, she can open any object in the db. Is this because
the db was created in Access 2000? If not, what is causing this? Would a
fix be to convert the db to the 2003 file format? If I remember right,
however, this would lock out any users still on Access 2000 (there is still
one who needs to use the db). Any help would be appreciated!!
