is there a way for me to use a word 2000 document as a form in access 2000?

I have several records in word document format, and need to migrate them
into access 2000.

any help would be great,

As far as I know, no.

If this is a one-time operation, one way to get your records into
Access would be to paste them into Excel and then use Access to Import
from there.

thanks. i guess i'm out of luck for making it "real" easy on me. Since I
have already inputted about 500+ records by manually typing them into my db
(were hardcopy), at least these remaining records are in word format.

thanks,

If, as I suspect, you have entered these records into a 'table' in
Word, then it's an easy step to get it into Access.

Select the whole Word Table and convert it to text, using the Tab as
delimiter. Save this as a .txt document. Close Word without saving
the changes to your original document.

Open a new Access database and go to File > Get External Data > Import.
Find your .txt file and go from there. You will have an Access Table
right away.
