Hello,
I need to run a service that uses some remote mapped drive. The service
does not work with the path (example) G:\FrameworkFiles but for some
reason it works when i give the path like
\\wahtever.ch\blabla\FrameworkFiles. G:\ is of course mapping the path
\\wahtever.ch\blabla\

I could understand that the mapping (G->\\whatever.....) is done after
the service is tried to start and therefore couldnt work. But, even
with when the drive is mapped and I tried to start manually the
service, I get the same error. Please, let me know if I didnt explain
myself properly.

Thank you,

What account is the service running in. Does that account have it mapped. Read help in the Service's applet.

It has to be in the local system account since I need to enable the
'allow interact with desktop' checkbox. And now that I think about it,
maybe I can not map a remote drive for this account, can I?
