i have heard that it is possible to, thru xml, create a
website that stores and recalls its information in an
access database. i am wondering if anyone knows of any
good reference books that i could use to learn to do this.

thanks in advance

you are correct. Access 2000 and up have a tab for Pages. You build them the same way you build forms (for the most part) and then save them to a web server witha shortcut in Access. I have several databases that do this, and like reports and forms there is a wizard that walks you through it. I have not seen a book specifically about the Data Access Pages, but the one I have has a section about building the pages using the wizard or importing exisiting pages, it doesn't go into the HTML code though. Microsoft Access 2000 Step by Step from Catapult Microsoft Press
Becareful with using Web Components, it is pretty restrictive to what versions of Access the users must have to view the components.
