Using A Proxy Server with a Dial Up Connection?

Hi friends;

Can you use a proxy server on Windows 2000 with a dial-up
connection? For the life of me I can't seem to find out
the answer to this one.

If you mean connect to an ISP then all IE request route through their
proxy server then yes ... I seem to recall Demon.net used to recommend
setting connections to them that way to reduce traffic on their network.
