Using a macro to copy text onto the clipboard

I am currently running a macro to copy a string of text into memory.
I want to paste this text into a table in microsoft word.
However in a table vbTab just tabs inside the table and does not move onto
the next cell. The same happens for vbCrLf - it doesnt enter into the cell
below but puts a return in the same box (vbTab & vbCrLf work for an excel
sheet but not for a table).
Is there something that I am missing???
Is there a way to get around this???

Liz,

The focus of this newsgroup is on the use of macros in Access, the
database development tool. Macros in Word are a very different concept,
so I think you will have a better chance of effective help in a
Word-related newsgroup.
