Was wondering if I can do this: I would like to install a thin formfactor PC
in my stereo cabinet to act as basically a music box connected to the stereo
integrated amp. It would have WiFi connectivity to my wireless router.
Primarily to play streaming internet stations.

Would there be a way to use a separate laptop as this PC's controller? In
other words, can I use a spearate laptop's monitor and keyboard to bootup
and control the operations of this PC? I'm trying to avoid an additional
monitor and keyboard for this PC, since there isn't any space to add those
items in to the current setup. Any ideas appreciated.

Some sort of remote software, such as pcAnywhere could be used. VNC, at
one time, was a freeware version of this type of software.

Thanks for the tips guys! I have Win2K so I downloaded TightVNC and after
some testing, it looks like I will be able to use it to control a thin PC
remotely on my WLAN. As a matter of fact, I am writing this posting via my
laptop which is being controlled from my desktop (that I'm typing from) all
via my wireless LAN. This is very cool!
