USGS Seamless Database

I'm trying to access the USGS Seamless database to download some terrain data, but I'm having some real problems. Could anyone tell me if this page loads with a map in the middle? I just get a blank box!

I've tried it on WinXP/IE7, WinXP/FF2, Vista/IE7, Vista/FF2, Win2k3/IE6 and it doesn't seem to work on any of them? :confused: I'm guessing the site isn't working properly, but the service centre thinks its fine.

Ian, I can open the page of the Seamless database then it makes my mess pc crash!:(
Twice i have opened it, twice it crash's & all i get is a blank white area with the tools on the left!
Not going to try it a 3rd time!
 
At work using W2k/IE6 i get the site with the usual red cross in the box in the corner....

The top right corner has a globe turning saying "Still downloading OGC WMS images" and still going after 5 minutes, and thats on a 16meg leased line!

My cursor turns to the + sign when i hover over the box for the map though.

Thanks all, very much apprechiated! :D It seems it must just be the site then, so I'll check back in a few days and fingers crossed it will be working!

err, I get the little world ... :nod:





... it does disappear though. :p


However, if you click anywhere it comes back ... goes away, comes back, goes away ... I give up.
