I have just discovered that on my main computer and the slave (networked) a user set up by the name of asp.netmachineA.... I cannot remember ever seeing this before, I am concerned that this is a hacker, can anyone help me.

Hi Candy,

This account is added by the .Net Framework when you installed it from
Windows Update. If you are not running IIS on your machine, you can remove
the account if you'd like.

..Net Framework teams is aware of the issue and is working on it.

Thanks and Sorry for any inconvinence.

No problem Candy. Sorry I should of used a less techy term. :)

IIS stands for Internet Information Server. It is used for hosting web
sites and FTP servers. You would use this if you were running your own web
site or file transfer server at home.

Hope this helps.

If you had that kind of person using the computer, a visit to this site
would probably be useful:
Dealing with Unwanted Spyware, Parasites, Toolbars and Search Engines

Read the whole article. Using just one or two of the tools won't get
everything they may have downloaded.
