I'm using AD 2000
I have a couple of computer that I have configured the users profiles(
outlook, printers...)
In documents and settings when I look at the profile it's in the format:
username, but on some pc a new profile as been create in that format:
username.domain name.
So now there is 2 profile for each users
So the outlook is not working anymore and no printers...and I have to
re-configured every pc!!
What can cause that? and how can I fix that?

what have been changed recently on those computers? (or on those user
accounts)
When did Outlook stop working?

Windows tries to create a folder named %username% in the documents and
settings folder for any new user that logs on, but if this is already there
it will add the .domain suffix. This can happen for example if you have
recreated your user account.

Nothing as changed on thoses computers, no new application, no changed at all.
Outllook did not stop working, it's not configured with the exchange server
on the new profile.
The profile have not been recreate.
What can cause the creation of a new profile?

A corrupt profile can cause re-creation also.
