Hi, can some one help me with this problem. Thanks in
advance.
Recently all my users complainted they couldn't print.
When I check the print queue, their print jobs just sit
there and not printing by the network printer. When I send
something to the printer there is no problem, everything
works fine. I also try to remove the printer drivers and
reinstall them. The problem still there for them. Only if
I put the users in the Administrator's group, then the
problem's solve. I did not change the GPO or user rights.
CAn any onetell me what's wrong! Thanks again.

I have seen this exact problem before. Try deleting the files under
%systemroot%\system32\spool\printers, I think that's how I fixed it.

When I had the problem, it was caused by some corrupt print jobs. The
spooler services was taking a lot of CPU time as well. Also try restarting
the Spooler service.

It could also be a problem with the permissions on the spool folder which
would be why you can print (as an admin.)

Colin,
I don't see any file under %systemroot%\system32
\spool\printers.
Print jobs in the queue were canelled and I even tried to
disable Spooler service; remove all printer files manually
then reinstall the driver; Stop & restart the Spool
service. The problem did not go away.
I also don't see any thing wrong with the permissions on
the spool folder which the Authenticated Users have Read &
Execute.
Any other thoughts, thanks.

John
