USERS' Passwords

Here is what I hope is a simple question.

Say you have a user on XP, and that user has no password.

Then say you are trying to login to the machine, say using Remote
Desktop or onto a FTP serer, and you want to log in as that user.
Well, in that situation you must provide a password...so what is the
password of users that do not have passwords...?

The password is null (blank). If the function doesn't work without a
password (and having null passwords can cause networking problems),
assign one.

I believe in order to use Remote Desktop, a password is REQUIRED.
