I have recently upgraded our Servers from NT4 to Win2000. All clients are
Win98SE boxes.
The issue I am having is that users are calling me all day saying they can't
access the file server. One minute all is fine the next access is gone.
The solution is to have them log off and back on.
Just to add to the issue doing this gives a password error which is fixed by
completely turning the machine of and then logging back on. Two separate
issues I suspect.
The losing network access is the important issue. People are getting
frustrated and it is a pain in the neck for me.
Any help would be appreciated. I posted several days ago in the General
group and have and no replies. Please don't associate this with my second
post since it is a separate issue on a separate network.
