Users can't give permission to others to their contacs

Hi All,
I'm having the following problem, the users can't give other users
permissions to their contact folder. When they right click their contact
folder, then click Properties, then click on the Permissions Tab, and they
add a user, the bottom part of the 'Permissions' Tab is grayed out, where
you setup the permission level. Any ideas?

I was able to get around the problem by creating new profiles for the users
that were having the problem. Thanks for your time.

Hmmm. Are you using PST files at all?
