Users cannon log in to domain (if account was disabled)

I am experiencing problems with accounts that were
disabled and have now been enabled. When the users
attempt to log in to the domain a message appears stating
that their account is disabled. I have enabled all
accounts in AD Users & Computers and everything looks
fine. Any ideas?
 
Do you have multiple domain controllers? If so you should verify that
replication is working. Perhaps the client authenticated against a DC that
did not receive the change. That would explain why the account is still
disabled.
