Username & Unix Lpr Printer

have a slight problem with the username not being passed on to the Unix
LPR printer...
I have a bog standard user created on XP box ... but print output always
comes out as Administrator

Can some one point me to right section so that username of the actual user
who has issued the print file is passed on to printer queue.

I'm guessing you're printing from an XP client to an LPR printer
defined on a Win2000 server, otherwise you wouldn't be asking here.
Supposedly Windows does support passing RFC1179 user identification
(http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q124/7/34.asp). Try
asking in whichever of these groups is appropriate, and explaining in
more detail what is set up on which OS:
