username/password box

hi

i have set the permissions for people so that when they log on they have
varing access. what i would like to know is if there is a way of setting the
box to clear when ok is pressed because at the moment when you re enter the
database the username of the last person who logged on is pre entered into
the box.
 
There is no built-in way in Access to do that.
Since Access knows, it has to get that info from somewhere. Likely
candidates are the MDW file and the Registry. Happy hunting.

Assuming that you use a desktop shortcut to launch the mdb you can add
/user ""
to the end of the target.
