Do you mean, you have multiple Outlook profiles, and you want Outlook to
prompt you for the profile to choose? If so, go to Control Panel | Mail,
Show Profiles button, and you should see that option there ("Prompt for a
profile to be used").

If that isn't what you mean, I'm afraid you'll have to supply a lot more
detail. Oh, and never put valid email addresses in newsgroup posts, or you
will get unwanted stuff like viruses and spam. Nobody should be replying via
email anyway; that defeats the purpose of usenet, where everything stays in
one place for all to read.

Hi,
Thanks for your help and advise. By the way, is there any chance to remove
the email id from the post? or delete the entire post. I will post the
question again.

Control panel and mail option is not the one I want. I want to display
username by default whenever I launch outlook 2003.
Thanks

You can't remove it, but it will eventually go away.

I have no idea what that means, then, sorry. You will have to be a lot more
specific....

Hi,
This is Sri again.
I am using microsoft outlook 2003 with windows 2000. When I launch, the
system prompts me for userid and password. I just want the system to remember
the last keyed in userid.
Is this possible.
Thanks
S.Srinivasan
