have three servers all running W2K SP4. Two are DCs,
the third is a Terminal Server running in Application mode.

We've recently been getting errors on all three machines.

On the TS, there is error 1000, source USERENV, "Windows
cannot determine the user or computer name, return value
(14)" in the App log. This happened for two days when
most of the people who use the TS logged in, then the TS
became unresponsive and was restarted. The next day, all
the servers were restarted and this error happened only
one time, but the TS again had to be restarted. I was not
there, I am reporting "unresponsive" second hand.

On only one of the domain controllers, at different times
not corresponding with the TS errors we see error 1000,
source USERENV, "Windows cannot determine the user or
computer name. Return value (1326)." This happens about 6
times a day.

I guess that you have a power users group in you local security policy
remoe all entries relating to POwer Users and try again

restart the system
3. check the paging file disk for an I/O error
4. install additional memory in your system."

Return value 1326: "Logon failure: unknown user name or bad

This will occur if a Terminal Session is disconnected and not
