I work in an office enviorment with mulitiple users for each machine. Is there a way to hide users at the welcome screen? Or perhaps force a manual login screen, like you would to login as the administrator?

im only 17 so not very good at stuff like this, but with
xp i have a function that allows me change the way users
log in and out. maybe you could try something like that.
it is under the users 'home' heading. i dont know if
thats what you mean though

You can force users to use the traditional Ctrl+Alt+Del screen:

1. Start, Settings, Control Panel
2. User Accounts
3. Select 'Change the way users log on or off'
4. Untick option 'Use the welcome screen'
5. Click OK

Then users are hidden but they will have to type their username and
password to logon.
