USER REGISTRATION FOR INDIVIDUAL USER PAGES

I am trying to do a website where people can have their own personal page
with photo/s and information about themselves. I would like it so that they
can have a password which will allow them to access their own page and
add/edit it when they wish to.

Is this possible to do on Front Page or am I wasting my time trying to
persevere.

If it is not possible, does any one know how I might achieve it?

You would need to use custom written server-side scripting and a database to accomplish. You will
need to determine what is supported by your web host first.
