I set up my email account under one user account and
again under another user, so that I could access my email
no matter which user was logged in. But I only receive
emails when logged in as one of the users.
Is there a way of reading your email when logged on as
someone else? Or do you have to switch users?

You created 2 email profiles, which means mail is stored in 2 different
places. If you are using Outlook, simply open the one .pst file your mail
is in (Outlook Data File) from whichever Outlook you are running.

Hi Katherine,

Share the same message store and check off this setting under
Accounts/Advanced:
Leave a copy of messages on server.

If the OP is not using Exchange (just a .pst file) and that one .pst file is
being accessed from 2 different user accounts, then leaving a copy on the
server would make no difference since the message will be downloaded to the
..pst file that both user accounts share.

If the OP is using Exchange, then it still won't make a difference because
each user account would access a different Exchange mailbox and mailboxes
are on the server anyway.

As an addition, Leave Copy Of Message On Server is usefull for POP mail
accounts when accessed from different locations.

She is posting via CDO, hard to tell which she is using. I am speaking from
an OE stand point.
