User Profile Corruption

Win2K Pro Network
All of sudden user A cannot launch any of her major apps.
Different user logs in to same PC, same apps work fine.
User A's profile deleted so W2K recreates profile.
User still cannot launch the apps.
Tried deleting profile twice. Same results.
Give user admin rights to the PC.
Apps start working again.
Will appreciate if anyone can share a clue.
 
Delete User A's profile folder and account, then recreate
her account.

If this does not work then please post exact error messages.
"Cannot launch any of her apps" leaves lots of room for
guessing.
