User Privledges on XP-Home

I know that this is NOT the XP-Home forum (I didn't see a group for that),
but I was just wondering does any of you know if you can set privledges for
users as you can in XP-Pro? All I can find is either Administrator
Privledges or Limited. With limited it appears that all the user can change
is their desktop. I would like to set up people to be able to download
software that's appropriate for them and log into the Internet through their
own accounts without having to go through the initial log-on process each
time.

Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Paulletta,

WinXP Home doesn't have those sorts of per-user assignments with security
and policy editors, that's a feature only in Pro systems. MVP Doug Knox has
written a small utility that may provide you with the functionality you
want, you will find it under the WinXP Utilities section of
www.dougknox.com. The registered version will allow you to load and control
multiple other user profiles from your administrator logon.

Let me first apologize for not getting to do this sooner :(. Would you
please provide the specific file I should use. I thought the security
console would work, but I don't see a setting for having the dial-up option
available. The major problem is the users needing to re-define the dialing
settings when trying to access the Internet and their ability to download and
install files.
