I need a little help with this one...on some of our computers if a regular
user logs in and makes the changes listed below once they click OK out of the
dialog box, the changes are undone (or more like the user never made the
change). If I log in as a local admin or with my adm account, I can change
the settings and of course it works. The user log backs in and of course is
still in the same situation.
I have even tried changing the settings in the registry as recommended
in KB819961. I am not sure if there is some sort of registry setting that
would keep users from making changes to the IE control panel or if it might
be something else! I have even tried looking at group policies but gpedit
may or may not show a group policy set at the domain or higher...any ideas?
Anyone?
