All, I set up a friends PC and spelled his name wrong. Is there a way I can
correct this? Specifically, the folders that come up under Documents And
Settings in Explorer view are affected.

I've tried going thru Regedit and correcting it but it just comes back when
I reboot.

Hi,

You can change the registered owner name in the registry, there is an easy
tweak from MVP Doug Knox on his site under Utilities (www.dougknox.com). For
the incorrectly spelled user folders, you will have to create new accounts
with the correctly spelled names, you can change the user account name but
not the account folders. The only way around it is to create new user
accounts.
