Best way to do this is with a local policy - here's
whatcha do:
1. Click Start, click Run, type gpedit.mmc, and then
click OK.
2. From the group policy console, browse to Local
Computer Policy --> Computer Configuration --> Windows
Settings --> Security Settings --> Local Policies --
3. In the right pane, double-click 'Interactive logon:
Do not display last user name'.
4. Under Local Security Setting, click Enabled, and then
click OK.

i do not want the last user name for the network logon
to display. this is not the last user name setting in
local security policy. this is like signing into
hotmail/loging onto a remote computer.
