In my profile i have listed name as "OBC Administrator" and that is what I
want to see on the FROM: line but Outlook insists on including my email
address as well
eg. "From: OBC Administrator [[email protected]]"
How do I prevent this???

FWIW, your email address will always be included in sent mails. How it is
displayed on the recipients end depends on the email client they use.

Thank you for the help. As it turns out the problem was only when I sent the
email to myself (testing the format äs a "signature") When i sent it
elsewhere it was fine-the email address did not appear. I dont understand
this but it is irrelevant so thanks again.

I suspect I either have the same problem as Bill and I don't understand your
solutions; or I have a different problem.

I have an email address that is my domain name; the messages that arrive
there are forwarded to a webmail service.

My issue is with the top of sent emails, where it displays my name and then
my email address. In all my email account settings, I've specified that my
reply address is my domain address, but my webmail address is always
displayed next to my name, an address I don't want anyone to know or use.

This wasn't a problem when I was using Outlook 2003 on my old pc, running on
XP; but has arisen since I configured Outlook again (with exactly the same
settings) on my new pc running Vista.
