I am running XP home edition and I'm looking for a way to restrict access for
some teenage users. Is it possible to setup a schedule that only allows
access for a certain period each day?

That and more:

iProtectYou:

Not going to do any good if the account's an admin account. Not nearly as
good as just tellin' 'em they can't use it but that's your choice I suppose.

That looks like it may be useful to restrict web access though the feedback
indicates it hits performance pretty hard even with filtering off. I was more
looking for something that would provide time controls and constraints on
accessing the computer itself. Telling them is one thing, but I'm not always
there to provide the supervision and enforcement of such instructions.

Thanks,

For some requirements, you may find it easier to invest in a
3rd-party solution, such as NetNanny or CyberPatrol.

You need to be aware, however, that *NO* technical or software
solution is fool-proof, and _none_ can ever adequately take the place of
live adult supervision. If you cannot trust your children to
safely/properly use the computer without supervision, you may have to
consider limiting their access to it.

Here's a lighter option:

Same basics apply, if he/she can turn it off they probably will.
