hi all,

I have a single domain XYZ.COM and I'm creating a subdomain as TEST.XYZ.COM.
There is a DC in the subdomain and it is set up as a GC. The problem is
that any user try to logon to the TEST subdomain is denied. Do I need to
migrate all users info from the parent DC to the child DC?

Thanks for your help,

The child domain needs to have user accounts. You can
take a look at ADMT v2 ( that would be Active Directory
Migration Tool ) to help you with this. Once the user
accounts are in the child domain you should be able to log
on.
