Hello,
I've recently started working on making a database I
use at work a replicated database. That part worked
fine. I then started adding user groups, and usernames to
set up user lever security. I was doign all this in my
spare time at home. I now have the problem that when ever
I try to any database, it asks me for a user name and
password. How do I turn this off? I only want it to ask
me when I am workign with the database from work.

Thanks,
Mike

I trust that your database is split, and only the backend is replicated?

That sounds as though you are modifying the default system.mdw workgroup
that ships with Access. The first step is to create a new workgroup to
secure it with. What version of Access?

You are joined by default to a workgroup that has a password set for the
Admin user. What version of Access are you using, and did you follow the
steps outlined in the security FAQ?
