You are joined to the Workgroup file you created. You need to rejoin the
default system.mdw workgroup file. How you do this depends on what version
of Access you are running:
Access 2002/XP and above - Open Access (you don't have to open any
databases), click on Tools - Security - Workgroup Administrator
Access 97 - Use the File Search option to locate wrkgrpadm.exe.
In either case, run the program and follow the prompts. When presented with
the option to "create" or "join", click "join" and locate the system.mdw
file on your machine (note: you may want to do this before opening wrkgrpadm
by using the File Search on your machine to search for "system.mdw").
After you successfully rejoin system.mdw, you would then be able to open any
non-secured databases without the logon prompt.
To use your secured database, you can either (a) rejoin the workgroup your
created when securing your database or (b) use a desktop shortcut to open
Access with a specifc workgroup. The syntax of that shortcut is this:
"Path to MSACCESS.exe" "Path to your database" /wrkgrp "path to your
workgroup file"

I want to put security levels on one database but allow the other
databases to be opened by anyone without a logon prompt. When I use the
security levels I am prompted for passwords for every separate database I
open. How can I changes this?
