I accidently cleared the admin user password in user level
security and now no one can log onto the database. It
doesn't even prompt me for logon information, but simply
says, you don't have rights, please contact your system
administrator. What can I do to get back into the
database?

OK....I figured out how to "join" the secured.mdw file and
now I can open it read only....but read-only only. How
can I fix this. I need full access....
I reset the Admin password to my original password.

I had a client do this once. Are you using a desktop shortcut to open the
database? If so, double click it; you won't get a login prompt, but you
will be logging in as the default Admin user, and therefore should get a
message "you don't have permission to use xxx.mdb", etc.

You can dismiss the message, and you'll be left in an empty Access window.
You should be able to go to Tools, Security, User Accounts, and on the
Change Password tab, set a password for the 'Admin' user.

Close Access, reopen via the shortcut, and login as whatever user you like.
