User interface blank after install

I have installed the antispyware tool on several computers. On about half
of them, after the installation is complete I am unable to see the user
interface - I have a menu bar only. When I select the menu item, I will
sometimes get a screen but the controls do not function. For instance I can
get the system explorers on the left but when I select one of them (e.g.
Startup Programs), nothing shows up to the right. I tried registering
msvbvm60.dll but it did not help.

.I've been having the same problem. I've uninstalled and downloaded again but I stll get that blank screen. The scheduled scan works but when I ask to see the report...blank screen. I noticed you wrote this back in August and you've had no replies. If you read this soon, please post and tell me if you figured out the problem. Untill then I'm just going to use Spybot S&D, I would love to use AdAware se, but I can't get it to open after 3 different installs. I can't find any answers for that one.

I too have the same problem. Are you running XP Pro by chance? My reg. XP
seems to work fine, the XP Pro has the problem.

Hi Jay;
I believe he was originally advised to run " regsvr32 msvbvm60.dll " from a
command prompt, although this thread is not complete in my view of it. Have you
tried that, and do you get any errors when you do?
