User ID

I want to populate a table automatically when a user
either adds a record or makes a change to a record. The
table only needs to show the Windows user ID and the
record ID he or she has added / ammended.

On my website (see sig below) is a small sample database called
"AuditTrail.mdb" which illustrates more than you want to do (it show the old
and new values as well), but should get you started.
