Is there a way to return a users' windows login name or workstation
name? So it could be written to a table. We use the serial number of the
computer as the user's account name. I would then use this to look up a
friendly (i.e. Joe, Mike, ....) name in a table extract that data then write
the friendly name to another table. I want to do this to create a database
of memos to keep track of the customer to builder/designer communications. I
already have a password database that allows a person to logon to my
databases but I want something really easy. The reason for this is the form
that this originates from has to be extremely easy to open so I don't want
people to have to bother with a login.
Thanks
