Is there a way to take out 'X' the Terminator! from the User Form? I would
also want the User Form outline removed?

Any suggestions friends?

Thanks

If you are saying that you want an actual check mark, or some other symbol,
instead of the "X" for a check box form field, there is no way to accomplish
this. (If you don't need document protection, there are some suggestions in
the article at http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Add_Toggle_Objects.htm.)

What do you mean by the "user form outline"? The shading for the fields? You
can turn form field shading off. Note that the exact steps depend on your
version of Word.

No not check box Stef; the X on the top; the one that closes the form. The
outline is the User Form Borders on its 4 sides!

Thanks

I don't believe either of the things you requested is possible from
within VBA. Even when the userform is set to have BorderStyle =
fmBorderStyleNone and BorderColor the same as BackColor, the operating
system still adds a border and title bar. You might find some useful
information at http://vb.mvps.org/articles/ap200011.asp, although
you'll need to translate from VB to VBA.

You can disable the Close Window button (the "X") as described at
http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/Userforms/DisableClose.htm.
