.The exact same thing hapend to me I was able to sign on
in safe mode. I thought By disabling the users I would
circumvent the sign in proceedure. Now I have the same
situation you have now has anyone responded
Thanks have a great holiday>

You might try a forced reboot to geet into safemode to
relog on .. then reset accounts .. xp will not usely let
you deleat Admin Accounts unless one is still avalible..
Good luck not had this probloum before myself but have
had to force in to safe mode by hard shutdown as it was
loading ..(unplug the cpu as it loads then replug it in
and reboot..) that is what I did to get there but you do
it @ your own risk

At the Welcome Screen, press CTRL-ALT-DEL twice. You'll get the old Win2K
style logon. Enter Administrator, and any password that you assigned to
this built in account during setup.

Thanks Doug
I've already tried the old style logon
using "administrator" as logon name; it doesn't work.
I receive the "user disabled" message.

Try booting up in safe mode. It should give you the
ability to log in so you can reenable the accounts.

Thanks William
I've already tried to boot in "safe mode"; it led me to
normal log on screen again.

Thanks ADSPXRX,
In my system the pre-set users "Administrator" and "guest"
are some how deleted or diabled.
I have not received a practical solution yet.
Thanks any way.

Thanks Loran,
There sholud be one or two pre-set accounts in XP OS but I
can't figure out where thy have gone!
Forcing in safe mode...I must say that I don't have the
guts to unplug the CPU while the system is coming up!!
Must be an intresting experience (on others PCs)!!
