User defined type is not defined

Hello,

I have a simple code
dim mydb as database
set mydb = currentdb

I got the compile error user defined type is not defined

Does anybody know what is wrong?

From the code window, choose References on the Tools menu.
Check the box beside:
Microsoft DAO 3.6
