Hello,

I would like to add a list of documents on the user defined fields of a
project. It should contain a number of columns like:
doc#, doc name, date, revision date 1, revision date 2 etc.

A normally keep this info in a small excel sheet, as most of my projcet
only have about 10 documenst related to them. It would be nice to have
this info in bcm. Is there some kind of trick or third partry software
which can do the trick?

You could always create separate fields for each document and its
corresponding information. For example you could have a Document 1 "group"
and various information "fields" under it. Of course you would need a group
for each document you want to track (Document 2, Document 3, etc.). You could
then export the info from your excel document into BCM by mapping the
appropriate fields. However, it doesn't sound like this is what you want.

Another option would be to continue to keep track of your documents in the
excel sheet and link it to the "history" section as a file. You could easily
open it from BCM, make changes, and save it accordingly.

In terms of 3rd party software for BCM add-ins, I personally haven't been
able to find any.

Thanks, I think I will try the second option!
