When I access the "User Accounts" from the control panel, I get the
following error:
"Wrong number of Arguments or invalid property assignment" and the User
Accounts is a white screen with nothing in it.

What am I missing?

I have all the user control panel components I can find installed, do I have
a slight conflict?

allan,

You may want to try to add:
MSXML 2.6
MSXML 3.1

components to your image configuration.

hi allan,

I've found the same problem, and I read the answers to your question, but I
already included MSXML 2.6 and MSXML 3.1, so I tried to follow the
instructions contained in the page steves says, but it still doesn't work.
How did you resolve the problem?

Thanks!!!

Pakone,

I glanced at XPEfiles.com, under the 'Software/Applications' section.
There is a file there labeled 'BugFix:
'WindowsXPESP12-October2005-x86-ENU.exe, that mentions problems opening
"user accounts" in control panel.

You might try that. Also, are you running SP1, SP2, and do you have
all of the latest patches from Microsoft installed? Sean Liming posted
this recently:

finally, are there any error messages in the Event Viewer?
(Start,Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer).

Hi steves!
That worked!!! It contained the same instructions that were written in the
page you told allan to go to, except that the last key was different.
Thank you very much!!!

Aren't newsgroups great?
Glad to help...
