I installed and then un-installed software to run a
digital camera on our W2000 Server. After doing this can
no longer open a particular program under the user that
installed the software??
Program in question is Maximiser Enterprise, but this will
open if they log in as someone else??

DC,

I am not sure that this is an AD problem. It sounds more like an
application problem. I would contact Maximizer Enterprise ( or whoever
makes that ) and/or the Digital Camera Mfg. and ask for their Tech Support.

Let me make sure that I understand this, though.

You installed digital camera software on your WIN2000 Server. At the time
you did this you were logged on as Administrator ( my guess )? You then did
your thing and uninstalled the software. This went without a hitch? The
software is completely removed? I would question why this type of software
was installed on the WIN2000 Server in the first place but this is water
under the bridge.

Now, whenever someone logged on as Administrator ( or whichever account was
used ) attempts to use Maximizer Enterprise he/she can not. Is this on the
Domain Controller itself or on a client workstation? I would question why
anyone is logging on to the Domain Controller, especially using his/her
regular domain account. Is it possible that we are talking about Terminal
Services?

HTH,

Cary
