user and pwd fields

Dear All,

I've got access to a classic home banking service and I have to type user
and password in order to get authorized.

Username has been changed, but eachtime I try to fill user field the
previous one appears so I have to delete it to tupe the new one.

How can I permanentlly delete the old username in the browser ?

It depends. Presumably both usernames start with the same letter?
In some implementations you might see them then in a drop-down list
and then be able to cursor down in the list and press Delete.
You would then get a message informing you that that action
would delete a userid/password combination. Etc.
Deleting the username just from the input box would only have the
effect of allowing you to type a different name.
