My mom is having this problem accessing user accounts in control panel, whenever she clicks on it it processes it and nothing happens
ive had this problem before and it was because of a virus, i found a loophole and was able to run those programs i was unable to by running as a different user - but there isnt any other users on her computer
ive checked for viruses and spyware using nav 2003 and adaware 6.0 and also did an eye scan on my own thru the potential dangered folders like system32
she wants to put a password on her account so my brother cant get onto the comuter and play games... altho im kinda stumped because i cant seem to figure out why she cant get into user accounts, all the help ive been able to find is "to get into user accounts go to start -> control panel -> and double click user accounts"...
typical microsoft help

anyways if someone has an answer or can figure out why i cant acces user accounts or even the process that runs user accounts (something i could find if i was able to property the damn thing) that would be of much help

Go to Start/Run and type: control userpasswords2 and press OK. Does
this open the old style user accounts dialog?

If this doesn't work, try using the System Restore utility to go back to a
point before the problem appeared.
