I downloaded some Windows automatic updates recently and
the next thing I know, I have this annoying screen for
User Accounts. I am the only one that ever uses this
computer and I don't want to go through this extra step
to see my desktop. It's the one with the chess pieces on
it. I hate that thing and wouldn't have installed it had
I known what it was. I thought I was installing SECURITY
updates, not some annoying new screensaver. How do I get
rid of it? Thanks for any help. Pat

Sounds like he installed the .Net framework and it added a new user causing the
problem he's seeing. Just delete the .net user from the user accounts and it
should be back to the way it was.
