I just installed WIndows XP Professional edition.
I created one extra user account, and literally overnight, the Administrator account doesn't even show up when i turn it on...somebody told me to start the computer in safe mode, but i'm not sure how?

Hi

Why do you need to access the Administrator Account if you have already created a user account for yourself? The Admin Account should only be used for troubleshooting.

If your computer is in a workgroup (which includes a stand-alone), and
you are using the "friendly logon interface" (not the classic Windows
2000 logon interface) when you create a second user with
Administrative privileges the built-in Administrator account does not
appear. To access the original Administrator account press the
CTRL+ALT+DELETE key combination twice during the friendly
logon interface.

For more information see the following Microsoft Knowledge
Base article:

For information about how to "start the computer in safe mode" search
the Windows XP Help and Support Center for the words in
double-quotes and read the Suggested Topic by that title.
