Hello, i was wondering if someone could help me work out a problem. I use to have the welcome screen to show the accounts on my computer with the names and password boxes....now i get a old windows 98 kind of box to type into and i go to user account settings & i go to change the way users log on and off and i get the message saying:

please tell me how to get my welcome screen back to normal please?

do you use netware/novell?

if not you may have installed in error, go to network connections, right click your LAN connection and click properties, in the "this connection uses the following items" box, see of you can see something called "Client service for NetWare" if you can then select it and click uninstall, reboot your machine and all will be well again.

I have the same problem but the 'Client service for NetWare' isn't on the list, and when I go into user account settings the box still comes up saying 'you must uninstall client services for NetWare'
help?
