I'm using XP home edition on my PC and am having my teenage neice come to live with me. I want to keep her from viewing my personal emails and files when she is on the computer. Right now I do not have my computer password protected. I know that if I go to the control panel and choose user accounts, I can click on my name and put on a password protection that shows up when the PC starts up and the splash screen comes on, but how do I make a guest account that she can use and not be able to access my personal emails and documents? Any help would be appreciated

Hi Rose
Set up a separate 'Limited' account for her. Control Panel, User Accounts,
Create New Account, follow the prompts ensuring you select Limited and not
admin.. You can give your niece internet access, and any other program you
choose.
She will not be able to see your files as a limited user.
If she is going to have internet access and email you can set up a webmail
account (MSN,Yahoo and the like) for her to use.
