Using WinXP Pro, corporate environment, Novell LAN

I hav an app wich make registry entries under
HK_LOCAL_MACHINE pointing it to its server directories.

I would like to point it to one of three different
directories (dev, test, production) at will and without
having to open the app, edit parameters, verify, close and
reopen. I could write a script to change those values,
but I would rather not if it can be avoided.

Does each XP profile allow for seperate registries for
each profile and if so how is this managed/done?

Please respond to the list.

Thanks
Kevin

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, is exactly that, a registry hive for
the local machine.

Each user has their own registry hive as well that is
local to them (under HKEY_USERS, or the current user as
HKEY_CURRENT_USER), but anything in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE is
global.
